Last Saturday it was raining. So rather than packing the kids up and heading out into the world, we grabbed a cup of coffee and sat under our back porch and watched it rain. Well, it didn’t take long before the kids took themselves out into the world (our backyard) and made a morning of fun playing in the rain. MacGyver found an old umbrella (and I found my camera and MANY candid shots). And well this is some of what happened . . . (Look for the FREE printable book link at the end of the story).
My umbrella is closed.
My umbrella is open.
My umbrella goes rolling on the grass.
My umbrella is high.
My umbrella is low.
My umbrella goes up, up in the air.
My umbrella is a boat.
My umbrella is rocking.
My umbrella goes crashing to the ground.
None of these pictures were “staged”. It was such a relaxing and lovely time sitting back and watching our children enjoy a day full of “nothing” but our backyard. (Yes, I did spare you the other 50 or so pictures I took! Let me know if you’re dying to see them!)
