As the Christmas season begins, I know I should be posting sparkling, snowy scenes. However, here in the South Texas Hill Country our Snowy Days are few and far between. As a matter of fact, we are currently experiencing fall. And believe it or not we have an area right here in the Texas Hill Country that rivals the fall foliage color change of New England. Don’t believe me? I have the pictures to prove it!
Welcome to the Lost Maples of Texas. Be prepared to be wowed . . .
Definitely worth a day trip. So much to see and do in the area!

Those are beautiful leaves! Definitley worth the trip! The frog is cute, too – and fantastic photos by your daughter!
Beauty at it’s best .. Love lost Maples Park. Thank you for sharing.
Gorgeous!!
Wow! Definitely better color THERE than here in Maine this fall. Our colors were dull, muted. (Someone said it was because of all the fall ran we received.)
Fantastic – great shots!
