Simple answer: Yes, you can freeze Sangria.
In fact, I encourage you to freeze sangria. Any time I have leftover sangria, I simply freeze it in a Zip-lock baggie. Just be sure you remove the fruit before freezing.
I also freeze any leftover margaritas in a a Zip-lock baggie. The frozen sangria and margarita mixtures make fabulous Sangria Margarita Swirls. Blend each of the frozen mixtures separately in the blender. Layer the two mixtures to create a beautifully delicious cocktail.
When I serve sangria, people always ask me for the recipe. I must give credit where credit is due. My cheap and easy sangria recipe was brought back from Spain by my friend Kathryn. A bartender in Spain shared this Authentic Sangria Recipe with her. Apparently, bartenders in Spain make a special Party Sangria for the tourist known as tinto de verano. All I have to say is it’s light and fresh and Deliciouso! This is sooooooooo much better than those terrible thick Sangrias that are served in the USA.
Would you like Kathryn’s famous Sangria Recipe? Well come on over and join the Sangria Party.
Keep the recipe handy, your guest will ask for it!
