Several years ago, during our annual fall beach retreat, we stumbled upon the Navarre Beach Sand Sculpting Festival. All I have to say is Wow, Wow, Wow! Amazing! Inspiring! Totally Cool! Wow, Wow, Wow!
The annual Sand Sculpting Festival held at Navarre Beach, Florida is just over the horizon – September 27 – 29, 2013.
Since I’m a Texas Gal, I also have to give a shout-out to Sandcastle Days held on Padre Island, Texas – October 4 – 6, 2013.
This is one of those post when a picture is worth a thousand words.
So here we go . . . dig in and make art . . .
Okay, the freaky babies . . . not our favorite!
Did not take long before the children were inspired to create their own sand sculptures.
Come a little closer . . .
Closer . . .
Closer . . .
Closer . . . Rib-bit!
Which is your favorite? Time to cast a vote!
Of course the Iguana and his Froggy Friend got the vote of our kiddos.
And remember . . . Leave Only Foot Prints . . .
I wanted to move right in to that sugar sand village!
You may be asking, “Where in the heck is Navarre Beach?”
Navarre Beach is a quiet little gem located along the Florida Gulf Coast.
Ready to pack you bags? I can hook you up with all of the details . . .
And don’t forget to . . . dig in and make art! DIY Backyard Sandbox.
