10 Favorite Father’s Day Gifts

Last Father’s Day, I went on a search for Father’s Day Gift Ideas from Kids. I compiled my 10 Favorite Father’s Day Gifts in a Father’s Day post. I especially liked the questionnaire type ideas and my favorite was a simple typed version by Daffodile Design.

However, I have two kiddos and wanted to create one framed gift from both children. I enlisted MacGyver’s help . . . I first asked the kiddos separately to finish the little questionnaire sentences. It was funny because they were in separate rooms and they still answered many of the questions the same. I guess they do know their Daddy.

Next, I let MacGyver design a page using publisher. He came up with the color scheme, banner and hearts design all on his own. I helped type up the questions and played with the font styles and sizes until everything fit on a standard 8 1/2  x 11 page, making it easy to print on our home computer. Last we added a photo and framed everything up in an inexpensive  NYITJA frame from IKEA.

Now, I realize that families come in all shapes and sizes. I’ve created a similar All About My Daddy version for individual children. If you have more than one child you could put these together into a sweet little All About My Daddy Book. Or you could put it in a 3 up or 4 up frame. You get the picture.

This version is designed to be trimmed to fit a 5 x 7 frame. The FREE printable is set up with two questionnaire forms on one page.

My daddy always worked extra hard to give us everything we needed, to this day he is still working hard and giving.

Why, thank you Tammy! The kiddo’s answers made their Daddy laugh and tear-up all at the same time. It was great.

The best thing about my daddy is that I can always call him and know I’ll get great advice!
