Grandson #3 and Mom have once again been doing a little interactive writing. Grandson #3’s gifts are music and math. He hasn’t quite developed a love for writing; however, he does enjoy these interactive writing sessions with Mom and Grandma. This one is special because it incorporates his interest in music. Enough can not be said for Adult / child interaction, whether in the classroom or the homeschool setting. Hope you enjoy their Boom-dee-ah-da Bugs song adaptation, done to the tune of I Love the Mountains. Look for the printable song link at the end of the book.

I played a little piano when I was younger. One day I may take it up again.

I played the trumpet in middle and high school, but now I do not play anything. Maybe one day I will learn a new instrument.

I took 6 years of piano lessons but have not played since high school. I played the clarinet in middle and high school and enjoyed it very much.

This question makes me giggle…I played clarinet in middle school and high school but my family always said it sounded like a sick goose so needless to say I was not very good. I also took 6 years of piano lessons but nothing really stuck…BUT my piano teacher had a closet of wigs and would change her hair during my lesson! a VERY interesting woman she was.
